Mercedes-Benz NXT and Mojito have partnered to launch the highly awaited Mercedes-Benz NXT Icons Collection: “The Era of Technology.” This collection, divided into seven distinct eras, is a testament to the brand’s rich design legacy. 

Neil Mullins, Mojito’s Chief Technology Officer, expressed passionate enthusiasm for the partnership, stressing Mojito’s role in supporting Mercedes-Benz NXT’s Web3 ecosystem for collectors. 

“We are extremely excited to partner with Mercedes-Benz NXT as we collaborate to onboard the next phase of Web3 users,” Mullins stated. He highlighted the collective goal of ensuring collectors a stress-free and transformative user experience.

Sebastian Ihler, Co-founder and Head of Product at 0xNXT GmbH, discussed the Icons Collection. He noted its role in celebrating Mercedes Automotive’s design heritage. “For the first time, we are offering Mercedes-Benz’s most emblematic car designs as digital collectibles across seven distinct drops with very limited supply,” Ihler added.

The latest addition to the collection will feature six of the most iconic cars produced from 2000 to 2017. This era saw unmatched technological advancements and innovation for Mercedes, as the brand led the charge in integrating advanced technologies into its vehicles.

Mojito’s role in transforming the collector experience

Mojito’s CEO said that its technologies support Mercedes NXT’s Web3 ecosystem, ensuring every collector interaction is seamless and informative. 

The goal is to combine Web2’s familiarity with Web3’s innovation. This will allow Mercedes-Benz NXT to provide collectors with a smooth user experience.

Sebastian Ihler reflected on the collaboration between the design team and digital pioneers. He noted the exhilarating experience of seeing the design team explore digital possibilities.

“It was exhilarating to witness the design team – the same people behind the creation of Mercedes cars – experiment with designs that are only possible in the digital world, such as dynamic car paint colors and patterns,” Ihler remarked.
